The effects of the Women’s Suffrage Movement were transformative, for they gave women legal rights in the eyes of the law. Economic and educational opportunities increased for women across the country. Some continue to feel that these rights came at the expense of men. Undaunted, activists still fight for Paul’s Equal Rights Amendment to be upheld. Paul and her fellow suffragists communicated through perseverance, changing America and impacting the world.
